A Bonanza Spanking

First I want to say thank you for the wonderful comments I received on my previous post. I am happy to say I am feeling so much better, thanks to the support of my ever loving and supportive and long suffering man and my wonderful blog friends. This community never ceases to amaze me.  I was truly touched by the support I received.

I am also happy to report that the weather has improved quite a bit since my last post.  We have had some nice blue sky days and the temperature has risen by quite a few degrees, although still quite cold.  I'm wondering how long it will last!

On a lighter note.  I  have mentioned in some previous meme's that Rick enjoys watching re-runs of old shows.

Hands up if you remember, or have heard of the TV show Bonanza.  It was a western that ran from 1965 to 1973.  Rick was watching an episode the other week and was very surprised to see this scene.

    I am sitting here open-mouthed! How is it I watched all the episodes of Bonanza and don't remember this one? In fact, I don't remember any of the spankings in I Love Lucy either. Is it because back then it seemed so natural?

    I always watched Bonanza. There is an episode where Adam spanks a girl too.

      I didn't know about the Adam episode, and don't think Rick did either. Will have to check it out :)

      LoL. I don't actually remember watching any episodes, although the show and theme song are familiar. I was a bit young at the time.

    When everyone was googly-eyed over Lil' Joe, I liked Adam. I always liked the more mature acting in shows. Lil' Joe was more likely to be disciplined than to discipline. He was hotter in his later shows and Adam less hot (or dominant).I'm older than most of the bloggers, so the younger ones are probably thinking "ewww". I never remember seeing this episode, but I do remember the Adam one, where he spanked an irritating woman. Maybe that's one of the reasons I found him hot. Glad you are feeling better. Wish I could send you a little of our Southern USA warmth, to make it cooler here and warmer there. (65 to 70 would be wonderful). God bless you with better days ahead. -Belle L.

      LoL, your comment made me smile :) I don't actually remember watching this, but do agree with you about Lil Joe being hotter in later shows. I used to adore Little House :)

      I didn't know about the Adam episode, must hunt it out he he. I am feeling so much better. Would love to take some of your heat off you! The weather has decided to return to drab in time for the weekend.

      I was/am (the show is still on you know on TVLand) and Adam girl, tall, dark, smart, handsome cowboy...what's not to like?

      I believe the episode you are thinking of is a retelling of the Taming of the Shrew called "Woman of Fire". Adam helps a woman tame her fiery self so her suitor will want her, but he prefers a "woman of fire". By the way, one of the best Adam episodes where he is caring, but still strong and firm is "The Way Station". If you like him more in a strong and firm fatherly role, there is an episode called "The Jackknife". Have fun watching!

    Never heard of this show before now.
    I adore old movies (especially the ones with spanking scenes) but over here they are almost impossible to find.
    I saw a couple of clips on youtube but never the whole movie.
    Glad to hear the weather has improved.

      It certainly is a classic. We have recently got a new TV channel here that just plays re-runs of the old shows. I think that's how he saw it. Spanking scenes are always good :)

      The weather had improved, but has now returned to being dreary again for now.

    LOL Roz...that was one of my dad's favorite shows and yes, I remember that scene...also remember when Adam spanked a girl. Ya just didn't mess with the Cartwright men...they were all alpha's in their own way but especially Pa and Adam!

    I remember this episode, now that I watched this scene again. We used to watch it when I was a kid, and I enjoy the reruns. D records them, and his all-time favorite, Gunsmoke.

    I remember feeling so sad when Adam left the show - preteen devastation actually. He and Hoss were my favorites. Adam was hot, smart, skilled and capable. Hoss was sweet, kind, honest and strong. Both were loyal, and tough in their own ways. Little Joe was cute but annoying.

    Nowadays, the "boys" are relatively too young to hold my interest, but I see Ben in a different light than I did as a kid. ;-)

I think if my Sir saw that, and heard the comments he said to her, he would say the same to me...i seem to have a stubborn refusal to do what he asks lol...

    First, when I glanced at the title of your post I thought it said A Banana Spanking. Lol. Second, growing up we lived right by the ranch where the shows were made. The Ponderosa is no longer open but it was fun to visit the place that we would see on TV. Love the spanking scene, I wonder if that is what got me into spanking,,,,

    I remember Bonanza too but not any spanking. LOL. There's a station here called Turner Classic Movies and on a Sunday evening when we have nothing else to do sometimes we watch an old movie and have popcorn. We both grin and snicker at how often old movies have a quick swatting scene of some kind.

    I remember that story line, also the one where Adam spanks the girl. There is also one where Joe tosses a girl over his shoulder and smacks her behind.
    Most of the old shows that had spankings in them you can see on Chross's blog!
